Charlie Key built, in the late 90s and mostly in the early 2000s, the finest overall collection of Brandberg and Namibian single quartz crystals, each with distinct style and appeal, perfection, and beauty. He later sold this collection in total to Marshall Sussman, and most of that collection sold on to Erika Pohl at a later date. However, Charlie also had a larger and more general Namibia focus collection, in which he also kept some examples of his favorite Brandberg quartz specimens; and I bought that collection around 2010 in partnership with Sussman. This piece was from that general Namibian collection, and it remains memorable now almost 15 years later as we got it back in a collection not long ago. It was the ONLY one I can recall with two phantoms in one crystal, side by side; which I think is fascinating due to both aesthetics and seeming rarity in nature. Why that should be rare, I have no idea - but it clearly is. Comes with custom base in addition to this amazing provenance.
