Here is a gorgeous, gem, vibrant cranberry-pink-red, Elbaite Tourmaline crystal from the the Coronel Murta area of Brazil. This is the old classic color from the 1980s! Seldom seen today. Much of the body of this beautiful Rubellite is a stunning rich pink with a cranberry hue and it is topped by a dark cranberry-red zone at the termination and the same at the base. The crystal is largely gem with some near horizontal veiled inclusions. Only contacted at the bottom where it was plucked from the pocket. This stunning crystal has a mass of 27.3 grams.
