Well balanced mix of smaller and larger Quartz crystals with a few of the rare, finely saturated yellow-orange to amber colored "Mango Quartz" on a limonite matrix. Visually, I would orient the largest crystal at the top. This commanding crystal is unique on the piece, not only for its size at nearly 4 cm, but more interestingly for the amount of hair-like inclusions that extend half-way down this lustrous, prismatic crystal. Most Halloysite inclusions are more dispersed, but this is clearly fibrous that can be seen with the eye easily. There are also a couple of very faintly included to almost clear tipped crystals that display the same wispy included character under magnification. All crystals are remarkably complete and in very good condition except for a single crystal in the center that is not terminated but does appear to have been recrystallized in the pocket. A very elegant, more pastel-colored example, from this now famous locale. It is a sparkling plate, with high luster overall.
