Perched nicely on matrix is a is a wonderfully unusual, acicular spray of lustrous and translucent, orangy yellow legrandite, to 1.8 cm across., from Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Mexico. This ball-shaped cluster is highly unusual and this is from a small find of the original 1980s discovery, it seems. Very few assumed this shape. It is dramatic and at first, you have to think about it and what it is, since it is not your traditional legrandite shape. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection.
