We have seen a lot of this material over the last 2 years, and even in context of 1000 pieces or more, this is an incredible large cabinet matrix plate showing the intense, ideal color you want in "Mango Quartz", focused at the eye along the points of the crystals, as you would display the piece. It has a balanced amount of matrix for contrast and for mounting on a base for display. It features 2 very different groupings of the famous Halloysite included "Mango Quartz" in contrast with one another, a seeming hallmark of 2022 finds here. On the left side there are lustrous yellow to light yellow complete prismatic crystals with interestingly clear Quartzes on the edge. On the right side there are the same high quality primary prismatic Quartz crystals, but with more saturated yellow-orange included tips. A definite "2-in-1" style of a piece that was extracted and preserved as a single specimen from the pocket. It would be hard to describe the complex pocket chemistry dynamics that would result in this mesmerizing piece! In the end, it is simply a stunning statement specimen for your collection. The larger crystals reach about 2 inches (5-6 cm). Note: this specimen is mine-run, totally natural and only cleaned with water.
