Stunning, emerald green fluorite is situated on and under a white aragonite coating on this interesting small cabinet specimen from the Queen of Green pocket at the Diana Maria mine in Rogerley quarry. A small stalactitic growth (approx. 1.7cm) of aragonite makes for a unique point of interest, with fluorite crystals up to 1.5cm partially covered by a blanket of white. The fluorite is brightly fluorescent, and has wonderful daylight fluorescence, glowing purple under sunlight. This remarkable pocket produced some of the greatest specimens of modern workings of this history quarry. These specimens are modern classics, and this fascinating small cabinet is a unique stand out!
