This is a large, hefty cerussite from a relatively new specimen producing location (as of 2022) in the Kaokoveld district. It is really heavy, at 297 grams, and has a great presence. The color is amber-brown, and pleasing. It is clearly twinned although the twinning is so robust, that it seems as if the twinned crystals are growing together into one colossal weirdly-shaped crystal; and the front side is remarkably undamaged. Having not seen many from here, we have little to compare this to, except to say it was the best example in a small group we saw turn up at the Denver 2022 shows.
