A small, but intensely colored gem Sapphire with intense blue color and some gem value on its own merit. It is slightly flattened and waterworn from natural movement, but still retains something of a flat crystal shape with subtle horizontal striations. This beautiful blue crystal has a mass of 1.1 grams but presents as a larger surface area because it is flat, and thus also, incidentally, unusually gemmy and transparent!
