A wonderful example of lustrous chocolate colored barite crystals measuring to 3.5 cm in size on a thin matrix. In very good condition. This is outstanding for the species from this old locality. The specimen comes with several previous labels and catalog cards. There is quite a history with the piece, this is detailed on these labels and cards. Originally part of the collection of Mike Grogan who acquired it 1955. The specimen was part of the DeBruin's special exhibit at the 2018 Springfield, Massachusetts show.
