A very aesthetic grouping of salmon colored barite crystals with little attached matrix. This is in super condition and really fine for this old locality. The specimen was on public display at the Denver, 1997 show. At one time the specimen was part of the collection of John Brottlund. Mr. Brottlund was a miner at this famous old locality and was responsible for most of the specimens that were rescued from the crusher. Background on him can be found in The Mineralogical Record, volume 51, pages 422 and 423.
