Chrysocolla pseudomorph with Malachite, Quartz
Unknown Owner
An absolutely gorgeous large cabinet example from these finds in late 2020 in the Congo. Sparkling blue chrysocolla replacing previous bladed crystals of what were likely azurite or barite, even possibly gypsum. These are measuring to at least 4.0 cm in length. Malachite present as well. The over coating of micro quartz really makes this attractive. Slight micro-chipping is present, that is typical on almost all of the specimens, this large example I think is in super condition. Very showy.
