A rather gorgeous botryoidal Malachite from the Burra area of the North Mount Lofty Ranges in South Australia. This specimen of bluish, deep green Malachite is the typical colour of Pseudomalachite and measures to 5 cm with botryoids to 1.2 cm. The entire miniature has a knobbly appearance with the larger botryoidal features standing well proud of the surface. The lustre varies from earthy to subdued reflected highlights on the spheroidal surfaces. This specimen comes with an old handwritten German label.\n
