Grossular (var. Hydrogrossular)
Plate covered with perfect, very lustrous, red-orange crystals, sprinkled with very light green, almost transparent (1.2 cm max) and small bluish-green rosettes of clinochlore. The grossulars are elongated and, in fact, might be richer in hydrogrossular than in hessonite. A large, rather elongated, translucent and perfect compound crystal is perched at the end of the plate.
