Elbaite (var. Indicolite)
Perfect crystal with a flat, transparent upper portion, blue and then colorless, and the lower portion opaque and blue-black; the whole stuck perpendicularly on a large, slightly smoky quartz with a tuft of white cleavelandite blades at the junction.
