Adamite (var. Manganoan)
Slab of hard, black matrix (probably consisting of manganese and iron oxides) covered with limonite, on which large, well separated crystals of white adamite have developed, with very sharp, translucent and lustrous terminations colored in vivid purple by trace amounts of manganese.
