Block of colorless, transparent, parallel crystals partially covered with a crust of siderite that give this sample the aspect of parquet; a few sulfides have developed at the base. Cryolite is actually monoclinic but forms highly-twinned crystals which macroscopically resemble cubes, such as this piece.
