This is a CLASSIC, golden-yellow diaspore crystal with excellent, gemmy transparency. In person, it is almost silky, when you look at it. These elongated large crystals are old classics - none have been found in Turkey in at least decades and, this is of good size. This crystal is untwinned, which is actually rarer than the famous twins from the locality. Ex. Ed Swoboda collection. These date from the 1960s, generally.
