This rare magnesium aluminum oxide borosilicate forms in contact metamorphic terrain at its type locality in Madagascar. In this piece it occurs as handsome green-blue, blocky, nearly translucent crystals to 2cm in length in a feldspar matrix. A great small cabinet specimen. Luis Leite label.
