Hambergite is a rare beryllium borate found in alkali-rich pegmatites. The piece has a satiny luster and possesses a creamy white color. This remarkable crystal is euhedral and is complete-all-around. It is entirely translucent and the crystal form is very interesting and sculptural, with the chisel termination. Altogether, it is a very significant Paprok, Afghanistan rarity but moreover it is a good hambergite even by worldwide standards.
