Mangan-diaspore is the manganese-rich variety of diaspore and is rare worldwide. This fine old-time specimen is essentially solid mangan-diaspore in the form of highly lustrous, glassy, rose-red lathes. The lathes reach 2.8 cm on this excellent and very rich piece. Ex. Mullane Collection and accompanied by a 1960s-1970s era Burminco label. Very seldom available from this South African locale.
