Many pyrites have come from Huanzala over the years. However, this piece is of exceptional quality. The mirror luster sharp cubes are covered by a contrasting second generation of pyrite that both has a different coloration and a differing texture. This is further layered on by a growth of sphalerite which is mirror black. A really pleasing aesthetic example of the beauty of sulfide minerals.
