The Hastie’s quarry is a currently operating aggregate quarry in Hardin County Illinois. These fabulous fluorites are found as a byproduct of the open pit operating in a vicinity of a previous fluorite mine. The majority of the specimens are in rough condition due to blasting from the open pit mine.
