Glassy gemmy crystals of calcite, many double terminated and measuring to 9.5 cm in size, across this crystallized quartz matrix. The calcite crystals exhibit interesting inclusions throughout. This is in terrific condition. The calcite crystals are brightly red fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light.
