A fine miniature displaying gemmy, well-developed crystals of light leafy-lime green Andradite crystals, each measuring to a good 1 cm, and aesthetically aggregated over a creamy white matrix. This most attractive specimen is from the Antetezambato mine close to the Maherivaratra Commune in Antsiranana Province, Madagascar. Andradite is a member of the Garnet Group and this particular specimen is the variety Demantoid. It's a terrific example of this species.
