Light lemon yellow prismatic crystals of Topaz to 1.5 cm richly sit on top of a light and dark foliated matrix from the classic Schneckenstein Cliff at Kielberg in Saxony, Germany. Most of the Topaz crystals are well terminated and between these, slender acicular Quartz crystals to 7 mm completely hide the matrix. A terrific Topaz from Schneckenstein Cliff with, less often seen, Quartz crystals.
