Excellent inter-grown cluster of tabular Apatite (Fluorapatite) terminated crystals from the famous Knappenwand area in Austria. Crystals of Apatite measure to 3.1cm, having a wide colourless gemmy outer zone around a central zone of frosted white. The Apatite has a small matrix area of mixed green Chlorite and silvery Muscovite. A terrific Apatite from the area, and comes with an old A. E. Foote label dating to around 1880-1890
