An excellent small cabinet specimen of Native Silver with Native Copper from the Wolverine mine at Wolverine, Calumet Township, Houghton County in Upper Michigan, USA. Crystalline, flattened wires of Native Silver measuring to 3.5 cm rise from a reddish Native Copper matrix. The Native Silver displays a natural silver colour mixed amongst areas with a bronze patina. A classic specimen of Native Silver with Native Copper from the Keweenaw Peninsula and is accompanied with its own purpose-made acrylic plinth.
