A charming specimen of thick-set Pyromorphite crystals from Zschopau in Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany, the type locality for Pyromorphite. The yellowish lime-green crystals are relatively stubby, the largest measures 1.8 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm and sits on a thin plate of white matrix. The Pyromorphite crystals are slightly barrel-shaped, with flat pinacoid terminations, some having a light dusting of a later stage white mineral, possibly Calcite.
