A 4 cm wide blade of micro-crystallised deep emerald to leaf-green Malachite completely replacing an Azurite crystal from the Tsumeb mine. The squat pseudomorphed crystal has a few much smaller similarly replaced crystals protruding from various faces. The micro-acicular Malachite crystals give a velvety appearance and their random orientations give great sparkle to the specimen. Attached to this is Dolomite as small snowy-white crystals and as light grey country rock.
