Tucson, Arizona, USAA spectacular and beautiful small cabinet specimen of glassy and gemmy deep blue Azurite crystals, silky emerald-green Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite and drusy, tangy-apple-green Adamite. From the Tsumeb mine in Namibia, the Azurite crystals are typically 4 to 5 mm across and are densely scattered over the bright, apple-green micro-crystals of Adamite; this covers a matrix of cryptocrystalline light apple-green Adamite. Light transmitted through the Azurite produces a stunning electric blue. This, along with the brilliant lustre of the Azurite crystals, the silky Malachite pseudomorphs and bright Adamite, results in a magnificent specimen from Tsumeb. The specimen comes with two previous owner's labels.
