Wire transfers available, to set up
Light mauve-pink crystals of Fluorite measuring to 2.3 cm, mostly as single intergrown crystals. One crystal is twinned just to one side of the centre of the specimen. The underside shows a little light brown Siderite with spots of tiny Galena crystals. Although not apparent at first, almost every Fluorite prism is superbly colour zoned, with some crystals containing at least eighteen parallel bands of alternating pale lavender and light mauve. A splendid cabinet specimen from the famed Boltsburn mine at Rookhope in Weardale, County Durham, England.
