A very fine small cabinet specimen of Analcime with Chabazite and minor Laumontite collected by Mike Wood in May 1994 in Moonen Bay, south of Dunvegan, on the west cost of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Mike is a very well known and expert British mineral collector, having the advantage of being an excellent rock climber and so reaching parts other collectors cannot reach! Dodecahedral crystals of snow white Analcime with a bright glassy lustre richly cover a matrix composed of Stilbite, Chabazite, Laumontite and Thomsonite. An excellent specimen display several zeolite species, accompanied with three previous collector’s labels (M. Wood, J.H. Marshall, Jr. and L. Greenbank) and a detailed J.H. Marshall, Jr. index card.
