Siskin-green Pyromorphite crystals richly coat the top surface and vugs in a limonitic Quartz veinstone gossan matrix from the P?'bram mining district in the Czech Republic. The Pyromorphite crystals are small, typically 2 to 3 mm long, with parallel prism faces and smooth flat pinacoid terminations. A group of crystals around an edge are a little larger but some of these have been cleaved during extraction from the mine. The Pyromorphite has a very bright lustre and combined with its attractive colour, makes a nice small miniature.
