Light, lime apple-green acicular crystals of Pyromorphite form two densely populated areas on a foliated limonitic, quartz-rich milk chocolate-brown to sooty black matrix. From the P?'bram mining district in the Czech Republic, the Pyromorphite forms long and narrow, slightly barrel-shaped crystals with flattened pinacoid terminations; with crystals are up to 5 mm long. The crystals have a bright lustre, with some prism faces appearing a silvery-white-peppermint green.
