Scorodite
The discoveries at Hemerdon mine, near Plymouth in Devon, England in 2006 redefined what was expected of British Scorodite. This small cabinet specimen from that original find, displays pretty, rosette-like sprays of sparkling pale blue Scorodite crystals up to 2 mm across scattered over a chocolate brown iron oxide coated cavity in milky Quartz matrix. The overall specimen displays well with fine contrasts and a rich coverage of Scorodite.
