A delightful group of intergrown Anatase crystals on Adularia, a variety of potassium Feldspar, from the Hardangervidda location in Ullensvang, Hordaland, Norway. The Anatase crystals, measuring to a most impressive 2.5 cm, form essentially a group of three with a 0.5 cm crystal below the main assemblage. The crystals are a deep steel blue, with faintly striated faces. A lustrous crystalline druse of white Adularia crystals, a variety of K-Feldspar, form a contrasting matrix from which the Anatase stand out. An excellent specimen from this classic Norwegian location!
