Well formed lustrous metallic black octahedral crystals of Hausmannite have formed on drum shaped crystals of similarly coloured Hematite crystals. Crystals of Hausmannite measure to 1.3cm showing excellent triangular growth on the octahedral faces. A major crystal of Hematite is seen to one side of the specimen, measuring to 3cm tall. A later deposition of reddish Andradite Garnet forms the matrix and partly overgrows the Hausmannite and Hematite.
