Bournonite
A single, blocky, well formed crystal of the lead-copper antimoniate Bournonite from Viboras mine in Cornelio Saavedra Province, Bolivia. The 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.1 cm bright silver metallic crystal has the characteristic 'cog-wheel' habit with striated prism edges and highly reflective faces displaying development growth patterns. The crystal is perched on a mixed Pyrite and Bournonite matrix sprinkled with micro-crystals of milky-white Quartz.
