Crystalline hemispheres and balls of dark inky blue Azurite measuring to 4 mm diameter are scattered over micro-botryoidal, mid-peppermint green Malachite covering a display face of white Quartz micro-crystals on a Dolomite matrix. From the old mining area of Brixlegg in the North Tyrol of Austria, this is an uncommon and most aesthetic specimen for the location. The coverage of Azurite is impressive and once examined under a loupe, the individual Azurite micro-crystals can be clearly seen across the surfaces of the spheres.\n
