A rich specimen of Argentite (Acanthite) forming a thick metallic grey crystalline sheet over the Quartz-rich matrix from the Bansk' 'tiavnica mining area in Slovakia. Areas of the Argentite sheet display abundant intergrown crystals in a well-formed cubic habit measuring to around 1mm. Associated with pale metallic yellow Pyrite some with a yellow-purple-red iridescence.
