An excellent specimen of green Prehnite with rhombohedral Calcite from the Rauscherm'hle quarry at Niederkirchen in the Rhineland-Palatinate of Germany. This famous locality is now a nature reserve where collecting is strictly banned. The botryoidal Prehnite to around 2 cm and forms undulating druses across and within an open vug of the gabbro-diabase matrix. A showy specimen.
