Wire transfers available, to set up
An impressive off-matrix Baryte specimen from the Frizington mining district of the West Cumberland Iron Field, now Cumbria, England. The crystals are thick and blocky; are of an attractive opaque caramel-brown with translucent deep honey-yellow terminations and grow in parallel, vertical alignment. The tallest crystal is 7.3 cm and although the entire specimen is lustrous, one side is particularly more reflective than other the other. The specimen is likely to be from the Dalmellington mine, just south of Frizington, but this is not for certain.
