An excellent specimen of deep bottle-green Libethenite crystals richly lining shallow open vugs in a milky-white, iron-stained Quartz matrix. This specimen is from Phoenix United mine at Minions, near to Liskeard in Cornwall, a mine well known for its well crystallised Libethenite. The crystals are glassy with a bright lustre and measure to about 2 mm across. In transmitted light they appear bright leaf-green. A choice Phoenix Libethenite.
