Two small, but excellent, sharp octahedral crystals of Cuprite have been replaced by green Malachite in Goethite gossan matrix on this miniature specimen. The two pseudomorphed octahedral crystals measure up to 6 mm across which is particularly large for Hilarion mine. A cavity on one edge of the specimen has several more pseudomorphs, in clusters and singles. An unusual specimen from this locality.
