A super single prismatic crystal of Quartz with associated crystals of Adularia, from the Rhone Glacier area, Switzerland. The well formed Quartz crystal measures 9.8cm tall it is very gemmy and lustrous with a smoky tint. Clustered on and around the Quartz crystal are intergrown crystals of wedge shaped Adularia, individual crystals measuring to 1.9cm. Brown to green areas of a Chlorite are included in the Quartz and Adularia, also with the odd acicular crystal of 'Actinolite' within the Quartz crystal. An excellent Quartz-Adularia specimen
