A lustrous, gemmy lemon yellow twinned Fluorite of fine colour from Hilton mine in Scordale, Cumbria. The larger of the two penetration twins, although not complete, measures 3.1 x 2.2 x 2.4 cm from which the small protrudes. Hilton mine is famous for its yellow Fluorite and this miniature provides a god measure of it colour and clarity. As said, neither prism is complete and both have small nicks along their edges, yet it remains a beautiful and eye-catching example.
