Pyromorphite
A finely mustard yellow to lime green coloured Pyromorphite from the Broken Hill orebody in Yancowinna County, New South Wales, Australia. The Pyromorphite forms well-developed crystals to around 4 mm with colours grading from light orange to yellow and acid green, lining the surfaces, vugs and pores of the light coloured gossan matrix. It's a Pyromorphite which is that little bit different from the norm, so making it a rather lovely addition to any collection of Broken Hill minerals.
