A fine combination of Fluorite with Quartz from the Rotherhope Fell Mine, Alston Moor, Cumbria. Classic inter grown cubic crystals of Fluorite measure to 3.5cm on edge. Fluorite crystals are lustrous purple, gemmy to frosted white. Colourless gemmy to translucent white crystals of sharply formed Quartz, are mostly concentrated one side of the specimen. The Fluorite has grown on a matrix of beige-light brown Siderite. A fine specimen from the mine.
