Tucson, Arizona, USAA fine, lustrous miniature-size specimen of Pyromorphite from the famous Les Farges mine at Ussel in Limousin, France. Well-developed, intergrown crystals of Pyromorphite richly adorn the Baryte and Goethite matrix. The Pyromorphite has many groups of crystals displaying parallel growth and hopper development. The crystals are of a deep oily-green to light caramel-brown, mostly capped with bright canary yellow terminations. A great small specimen from this classic French location which finally closed in 1981, unbelievably now over forty years ago. Ex Franz Lammer Collection.
