Tucson, Arizona, USAA small, but lovely example of pseudomorphism from Tsumeb mine. This small miniature to large thumbnail specimen exhibits two wonderful, stocky, but well-formed monoclinic Azurite crystals, twinned, and both replaced, or pseudomorphed, by Malachite. These crystals are gracefully sat upon a small fragment of contrasting cream coloured Calcite, or Dolomite matrix. The largest 'Azurite' crystal reaches 8 mm in length by 6 mm wide and the second only marginally smaller. From John Schneider's famous Tsumeb collection.
